The roots
An old way of reading a birth date
Chinese numerology treats your date of birth as a map. Three ideas sit at the heart of every Tao of You report.
The Five Elements
Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water describe cycles of change. Every number belongs to one element, and the balance among them says a great deal about you.
The Four Pillars
BaZi writes your birth as four pairs of symbols, with twelve animals and the Five Elements, for a classical reading of your Day Master and its balance.

Questions
Good to know
Is this accurate?
Your chart is calculated from your date of birth using fixed formulas from Chinese numerology, so the same date always gives the same result. How a chart is read is an art, though, not a science. We write our reports in terms of tendencies and themes worth noticing, as a tool for self-reflection rather than a prediction.
Why does my report take up to an hour?
Each report is assembled and checked before it is released to your account, so delivery can take up to an hour. We email you the moment it is ready, and you can download it any time after that.
Do I need my birth time or birthplace?
Not for most reports: your date of birth is enough. Your Four Pillars Chart has a fourth pillar that needs your birth time and time zone, the Plum Blossom Birth Hexagram is cast from your birth time, and your Vedic Moon chart becomes exact with it. Birth time is optional when you sign up, and you can add it once later.
Can I order a report for someone else?
No. Membership is personal: each member has one profile, for themselves. This keeps every report genuinely about the person reading it.
Can I change my birth date later?
You can correct it once, in case of a typo. After that your profile is locked, so please check it carefully before you confirm.
What do I get for $9.99?
Lifetime membership: every report we offer today and every report we add later, as downloadable PDFs. Your Annual Forecast for this year and the next is included, and a new year opens every January at no extra cost.
How is my data used?
We ask only for what we need to build your reports: your name, email and date of birth. We never sell your data. The free preview on this page is calculated in your browser, and your date is not sent to us.
What is your refund policy?
If your report is not delivered, or something is wrong with it, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will make it right or refund you in full. See our refund policy for details.
Is this fortune telling?
Tao of You is intended for self-exploration and entertainment. It is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it does not predict the future.
